Hi, I’m Ditty — owner of Frame 88, picture framer, art lover, obsessive collector of beautiful frames and believer that great framing can completely transform a space.
I’ve been framing, restoring and exhibiting art for almost 30 years, and honestly, I still love it as much as I did when I started.
Frame 88 began in Penshurst Street, Willoughby, and now lives just around the corner on Frenchs Road. The name stayed for nostalgia — and because some things are worth holding onto.
I work across everything from highly detailed contemporary framing for interiors, through to restoration of antique and sentimental pieces, archival paper restoration and oil painting conservation. Some jobs are archival and meticulous. Some are bold and design-driven. Some are sentimental family pieces held together by tape and hope. I genuinely love all of it.
Old frames with history? I love them. Clean contemporary shadow boxes? Also love them. Oversized artworks, strange objects, difficult jobs and pieces people are scared to touch? Even better.
Over the years I’ve collaborated closely with stylists, collectors, artists, galleries and interior designers, helping artworks sit beautifully within a space — not just on a wall.
For me, framing is never an afterthought. It’s part craftsmanship, part storytelling, part instinct.
